Pre-camp for ALL staff is Saturday, June 17th, Wednesday, July 5th, from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Thursday, July 6th from 11:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Please reserve these dates on your calendar, as attendance is a condition of your employment. Please also note that you are required to provide your own transportation to and from camp for these training days.
Pre-Camp will give you the opportunity to visit the campsite, meet other camp staff, review your camp responsibilities and share your camp program ideas for the summer season along with having fun, lots of fun!
The first day of camp this year is Monday, July 10th and there is no camp on Monday, August 7th – the Civic Holiday!
Read the Staff Survival Guide. It will help you get to know camp. You do not need to print the guide or fill out any forms in the guide unless your Unit Head or Assistant Unit Heads ask you to!
STAFF MEDICAL FORM
You must complete the Staff Medical Form online and submit it to the camp office no later than June 12th. Your Staff ID was emailed to you.

WHAT TO BRING TO PRE-CAMP
You must bring a pen and a binder with paper or a notebook to take notes. Also, bring a bathing suit, towel lunch, drink, snacks and sunscreen. In case of foul weather, raincoats and rain boots are a must. Also pack a long sleeve shirt and long pants as it tends to be cool in the mornings. Please note that the Camp Riverwood Dress Code is in effect during pre-camp (see Staff Survival Guide). You will receive your camp shirts on the third day of pre-camp.
Departure during pre-camp will be at approx. 4:30 p.m. on June 17th and July 5th, and on July 6th be prepared to stay until 7:00 p.m. for the parent Meet & Greet.

Camp Riverwood operates at Petticoat Creek Conservation Area, which is located on Whites Rd. approximately 2 km south of Highway 401.

Upon your arrival into Petticoat Creek, please advise the front gate attendant that you are a Staff member for Camp Riverwood and you will be allowed entry for the day without having to pay the entrance fee.
